What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT, focuses on the particular ways in which we think, behave and act.
Using CBT you can change the thought process(the cognition) and what you do (behaviour) These changes can help you to feel better and unlike many 'talking therapies' CBT focuses on the current ' here and now' of the problem or issues. With CBT we focus on looking for solutions and ways to improve your current mind and behaviour patterns, breaking those negative cycles of beliefs and actions.
CBT helps to show how your thoughts, emotions and actions are all interlinked and how your mind influences actions and behaviours.
So why should you try CBT?
Using CBT and EFT I can help to change your critical thoughts, to eliminate negative behaviours and beliefs and therefore create a new positive mind and body response.
CBT focuses on the current issues and facilitates the development of new skills, teaching ways of current and future problem solving.
Using these proven therapies I can help you to better cope with future problems as they arise and make the changes you need to live a happy, successful and positive life.
